The Lego Movie | End Credits

Brian Mah was faced with a challenge. Create real Lego dioramas and film them in stereo for the end credit sequence of The Lego Movie. The Alma Mater designers came up with spectacular Lego creations, then Proof came in and added animation and camera moves. Every move had to be meticulously designed to meet two stringent requirements. The first was each camera move had to work within the stereo camera rig's extremely limited range of motion. And the second was that the appearance of each name had to follow specific rules about screen size and duration. Even for a master builder that's not an easy task, but in the end...awesome!
